What’s your favourite number?

We recently stepped up the pushy parent act by showing him lots of books with numbers in. He’s been counting up to five (“nein, ooo, eee, four, iive) since our holidays where he loved going up and down the steps. Two of his little girl cousins have been counting for ages so we are on this!

We’ve convinced ourselves that he’s learnt to read at least some of his numbers because he points to 4 & 5 when asked. I’ve no idea if this is possible but we’ve taken to calling him Einstein…

When I filled out his pre-school application I felt every confidence answering the question “what’s your favourite number?” Hopefully he’ll astound them too with his knowledge of number four.
